1. PROTECT

Always put on and take off your waders while standing on a protective mat to shield the neoprene material from sharp rocks and rough terrain. Utilizing a mat prevents punctures and abrasions, extending the lifespan of your gear.

2. DRY

Don't forget to dry your waders after each trip—hang them up to air out once you're back home. Quick tip: if you've been fishing in saltwater, make sure to give them some extra TLC and a fresh water rinse!

3. WASH

Keep your waders breathable and fresh with regular maintenance. Depending on how often you hit the water, aim for a thorough cleaning 1 to 3 times a year.

Rinsing Your Waders

Rinse your waders with fresh water after every use and before storage to wash away mud and debris. Dirt can settle into the fabric and clog the breathable membrane, while saltwater exposure can gradually damage seams, fabric, and hardware. A quick post-use rinse is essential to maintain peak performance and extend the lifespan of your gear.

Keep Your Waders Dry Between Uses

Always dry your waders completely—inside and out—before storing. Hang them in a well-ventilated area with good airflow, and remember to turn them inside out once the exterior dries. Avoid direct sunlight and areas prone to extreme temperature swings, as UV rays and damp environments (like poorly ventilated basements) can degrade the fabric, weaken seams, and cause mildew.

Washing Your Waders

Regular and proper washing keeps your waders performing at their best and extends their lifespan. Follow these simple steps: 
Step 1 - Zip up the front and pockets, and fasten all suspender buckles before washing. 
Step 2 - Hand-wash alone in warm water (up to 105°F/40°C) using a small amount of liquid detergent or technical fabric wash like Nikwax or Granger's. Avoid powder detergents, softeners, stain removers, and bleach, and never wash with heavily soiled clothing. Rinse thoroughly twice.

Drying Your Waders

After washing, either hang-dry your waders or tumble-dry on a warm, gentle cycle. To protect the technical fabric, always use a low-heat setting (such as delicate or gentle) and ensure the temperature never exceeds 125°F.

Repair Instruction for Breathable Wader

Our wader has been carefully inspected to ensure waterproof performance. However, if leakage happens due to accidental puncture, please use the included materials and follow the instructions below for repair.

Note; We’ve included two handy repair patches with your waders so you're always prepared. Just a quick heads-up: due to strict international shipping safety rules, adhesive cannot be included in the box. You'll need to grab a tube of fabric glue separately—trusted brands like Aleene's Fabric Fusion, Beacon Adhesives, or 3M work great!

A. First, locate the leak. You may wear the dry suit in water for a short period, then check the interior for a "wet spot".

B. Turn the wader inside out and wipe the damaged area clean with a dry cloth before repair.

C. Use a household iron, set to low steam setting (suitable for polyester/Rayon). The patch is applied on the inner side of the dry suit. Repair the dry suit following Case (A) or (B).

Case (A): Small tears & holes Cut the included adhesive tape 1cm larger than the damaged spot. Place the tape over the hole with adhesive side facing down, then press with the iron for 10 seconds.

Case (B): Large tears Cut a piece of the included fabric patch large enough to fully cover the tear. Glue it onto the wader with the tricot side up. Cut adhesive tape to cover all four edges of the patch, keep the adhesive side down, and press with the iron for 10 seconds.

D. The finished repair should look consistent with the taped seams inside the wader.
